Mr Sheridan trained in pelvic surgery and has Fellowship from both the Royal College of Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Surgeons, which is uncommon in modern gynaecologists.

This training allows him to offer a wide range of medical and surgical expertise, including:

  • Teenage period problems,
  • Painful/heavy periods
  • Early pregnancy problems
  • Scans for Confirmation of early pregnancy
  • Infertility
  • Endometriosis
  • Pelvic pain
  • Sexual discomfort
  • Genital prolapse
  • Urinary incontinence problems
  • Contraception including coil insertion & sterilisation
  • Menopause & HRT
  • Routine cervical smears & well woman examinations

He performs major and keyhole surgery, employing the newest techniques in the management of ovarian cysts and heavy periods, including same day surgery and discharge.

His care is offered from the onset of the first period, through the fertile years and menopause into the gynaecological problems of the elderly.

Clinics for gynaecology patients are held at the Spire Bushey Hospital on Thursday afternoons and most Saturday mornings, with a limited number of spaces on Tuesday afternoons.
